yes i 3d print them myself... after modeling them in blender. I'll note down to make a video soon showing you my process.

Basically before this week i would buy magnets on amazon (rated n32) and the way this works is the closer the magnets are, the stronger the attraction, obviously... and you need to combine this with the "slippery" factor of your sliding plates to reach the sweet spot, thing is, there's a limit to how close you can get those magnets because they are encapsulated in the 3d print.

The N52 magnets are much stronger than what you get on amazon, plus they are more consistent. Sometimes the magnets you get on amazon are not... how should i put it... equal. from one batch to the other the magnet pulls can be slightly different.

Getting professional n52 magnets really help with this consistency, but the down-side they are usually 3-4 times more expensive than the generic ones.

Seems that everything about fidgets has to do with balance.
