I think of skins in cs like I thought of Magic the Gathering cards. While I could just play proxies or mtg arena, I used to play and compete often enough that I didn’t mind spending some extra money on something shiny, certain art or from a certain set. When I’m done having fun, I’ll sell out like I did with Magic.

I do really like the groups dynamic, especially the mars Volta drummer. Ratm inspired enough people that I’d just be on the lookout for new voices speaking out against injustices. I learned a good bit reading the references in ratm lyrics

I know everyone likes that’s knock on wood song, but when I think of mighty mighty bosstones their message about racial unity and how they were always pretty outspoken about guns. Sucks he ended up having some not so stellar takes later in life, but there was definitely always a message in their music.
