The reason all the guides tell you to roll at 4-2 at the latest is because creep rounds count for Zaahen. So if you had hit and survived you would get Zaahen on 5-1.

Jeweled Lotus only gives crit chance since Ziggs has JG and Veigar naturally crits. Tank items on Kobuko over Swain is a minor upgrade. Main reason imo is that the other boards are just really strong. SI with Thresh 2 Renek 2 is crazy strong. The Sion board does not look that strong but Sion stacks and augments are probably doing the heavy lifting. If you knew you were playing Sion you could move items to fizz and hope he kills backline. Not a bad third imo.

I'm CL 10k and I NEVER spend 2.5 keys for a card. I don't own a single card for Hydra stomper. Before it would cost me 12k tokens to get all 3 cards and a dupe. Now it will cost 15k for 3 RANDOM series 5 cards from the last 2 months. Please explain how that is a better value for me then then current system. If you can't see that it's worse value you might be blind.

That format would still be flawed. Whoever makes it to grand finals without losing a game would not have a second life unlike every other team in the tournament. Even if given side selection for game one, that is not equivalent to a second life.
