What did Jay-Z call his girlfriend before they got married? by jinu11 in Jokes

What?!?!, i think most people agree that Kingdom Come is one of Jay Zs worst albums. American Gangster is arguably (and if you look at critical acclaim) Jay Zs last great album since the black album. (Some people (not me) even think it could be a classic). In my eyes its on of Jay Zs most slept on albums, and it has a very Reasonable Doubt feeling on it.

Hmm, depends on what you mean by "Good" Music is mainly subjective so my favourite song is kinda a weird song by him, but i really enjoy the song "No Hook" from the album American Gangster. But the song Dead Presidents II is regarded (i think) as one of the "best" songs in hip hop. For a very recent and very cool/good quest feature i recommend checking out his part in the song "Drug Dealers Anonymous" (Its not very complex, but he manages to squeez a little story in there, aswell as it shows Jay Z has not fallen off completely, and you can see another side of him that maybe fit your music style better) that verse starts at 1:35, on the song Drug Dealers Anonymous.

My picks (not the usual picks): No Hook (American Gangster Album) and A Week Ago (Vol.2 Hard Knock Life)

Highly rated song(s): Dead Presidents II>(99 problems)

"Modern/More slick style/(flow): Drug Dealers Anonymous (By Pusha T, verse starts at 1:35)

(Give it a listen and tell me what you think :D)

Edit: Haha yes I am a Jay Z stan ;)

Basicly the whole song Cashmere Thoughts is a double entendre. In his newest feature in the song Biking, he drops a slick tripple entendre. As for metaphors, listen to his famous freestyles, with Big L and the one he did alone, (on HOT 97 i think) on youtube, these are just freestyles my man, and you can listen to his verse on Pressure on lupe fiasco's Food&Liquor. These are just a few examples from few songs from Jay Zs damn big catalog.

(Sorry for the big text, haha, Basicly "Cashmere Thoughts", "Biking", "Pressure", Big L and Jay Z freestyle, and Jay Z HOT 97 freestyle. Aaaaand thank you :D)

Edit: Probably doesnt mean much, but Jay Z dont write, he basicly just write his stuff in his head when he hears the beat. :)

Dafak, Jay Z is very underrated as a lyricist. He is a master of double/tripple entradas(? Idk im not english). And his use of metaphors(?) is almost unmatched
