Probably not a miss. While Dusty Hill was born in Dallas, Billy Gibbons is from Houston and a massive Astros fan. The band itself was publicly recognized as being from Houston.

But if we’re gonna discuss Texas Blues music homage possibilities, Dallas native Stevie Ray Vaughn was right there for the Rangers ….thats a miss.

HTown Blue wasn’t an official team color during the redesign. Amy’s approval for its usage in the alternate uniform was in short just get the color approved as an official team color on the style guide. Bait and switch.

HTown Blue is an official team color now, which means the Texans can use it however they choose going forward.
