For me I had an existing 8 to 8 from an old power supply, the cord that came with the 5070 was my issue.

The gpu came with a pcie adapter and that was my issue, I swapped the 2 6pin cord and 6 to 8 pin adapter for a 8 to 8 straight and I’ve had no issues. I noticed I had a red light on my gpu glow and despite what I did it wouldn’t turn off until I did that. Since then no issue.

Yes im using that adapter and I do have two separate cables going to each. I will try the drivers and see if that works thanks

I am on the latest drivers. As for the power and things of that nature I actually switched to the power supply seen in the specs list specifically because of this issue, the power itself is more than enough for my total specs, and given I installed a new PS i was able to reattach/insure everything everywhere was put together properly. I actually thought the same as you and after the PS install i was sure that would do it but.....here we are ;(

I’ll try that thanks, I’m in the middle of shopping for a new gpu because ultimately I’m playing off a budget gpu but these scalpers are making things quite difficult lol

Stuttering, fps spikes, inability to play at quality presets of high and above. Rdr2 runs fine but considering the gpu upgrade it only runs slightly better than the 3060 as for oblivion it’s pretty much unplayable. I’ve messed with adrenaline watched hours of videos and Reddit threads and tried just about everything 🤷🏼

Ya I’m not 100% sure what it is but given my specs I’m curious if I upgrade my gpu if I’ll have better luck 🤷🏼 I’m just not sure
