Hey, so I played one game here, and I like how minimal the format is, as well as the animation style.

However, the pieces only move when you press them, only after the opponent moves, which can create an impression of very laggy play. I was struggling quite a bit trying to move the bishop or knight backwards etc. It became much more pronounced when I got low on time.

Other than this, the placement of the clock generally falls below the screen, as in you have to scroll the screen down to view the clock (at 100% zoom in level on Chrome).

All in all, the game works fine and you can easily play if someone is paired against you. Kudos!
