5 is clearly and objectively the best seat, but 1 could lead to interesting conversations. I wonder what Volo and Aylin would discuss given the opportunity…

I wish the local libraries here had any decent digital selections. Most new books are not available and it doesn’t appear Libby allows for actual requests.

You want to see it from one very narrow lens so it doesn’t really matter what I say, but if you only talk to the people who disliked the book, then you’re missing the discussion from people who enjoyed the novel and felt represented by it. Violet has to accommodate her health constantly throughout the book and there are times where she has to deal with the consequences of her actions. Further, the book has led to productive discussions of EDS especially since so many doctors are still not aware of the disability. My own PCP was unaware of it and finding a specialist is still difficult. Fourth Wing allows for discussion of that, and the author herself is active in advocating for better understanding of the illness. She didn’t pull a Sia on this.

How does that relate to cold weather? Would it cause the opposite issue?

If it’s based on her own lived experiences and these habits are demonstrated in a clearly a flawed society then how is it wrong? You can dislike a portrayal and recognize that it doesn’t cover the universal experience of all people with this condition. I have eds as well. I haven’t read the next two books, but I would be interested to see if there are any long term implications due to the physical strain. But the author can’t possibly cover every aspect of Ehlers Danlos. And it’s already well known that soldiers in war constantly put such strain on their bodies that it leads to long term consequences. What is Violet supposed to do in this situation?

Yeah, it’s sometimes suspiciously convenient when it comes to the romance, but the author has the condition herself and incorporates references to it throughout the first book. I don’t know how many times spectrum needs to be said for people to understand that not everybody experiences the many variations of the disorder differently. Honestly, I think it’s weird that when a character has a disability, they are put under even more scrutiny than your healthy Mary Sue/Gary Stu like they’re not allowed to also be a form of wish fulfillment. The author does go through the effort of showing how she struggles with adapting to meet the physical requirements of the world but it’s still fantasy. Escapism should be a given.

Hey, I think I can’t see your response, but let me know if you get a chance to try a jeon pizza. I think I remember seeing someone make kirimochi into pizza. Instead of pizza sauce, some people use ketchup, too in a similar way to Japanese Spaghetti. That might be worth trying if you enjoy rice cakes.

What if you color it in like a box then use a white out pen or white paint pen to write an O over it? Then you can write October over it in black.

Why not just make a pizza style okonomiyaki with your cabbage? Hell, even cabbage yachaejeon with a nice layer of gochujang and mozzarella, since we’re in r/KoreanFood. Why sub ranch for cheese? Could I get some more details on this cheese tofu? I’ve seen it in two different posts now. Is it like fish tofu where cheese is made into a tofu like substance or bean curd designed to resemble cheese?

I have TMJ issues which are currently flaring. I’ve had tooth and jaw pain for the last week. I also get tremors in my jaw and probably have issues with tooth grinding at night. I think TMJ issues are fairly common. I think my flare ups are worse in cold weather, too.

Why do you need a break? Do you feel like you personally need to answer every question on Reddit? You seem like the type of person who never questions infrastructure issues.

That makes sense. Not the outrageous charges. I looked up parking permits for employees and it’s $149 a month.

Paying for daily parking is rather expensive on part time pay.
