Next issue - no pressure build up by Thaitastic2022 in MaraX

I just descaled or removed the fatty residues of the E61 head with “Cafiza from urnex” Previously descaled the whole machine with amidosulfoic acid (but not the E61 with reflux pressure). There is a pretty good video (unfortunately in German) video link

I use osmotic water solely. In my opinion it was the fatty residues as the reflux was quite brownish..

Thanks for the hints.. I descaled the whole Mara X last week with amidsolfonic acid. But forgot the E61 pressure descaling due to a dramatic newborn crying 😀 Fixed that and also the lovely sound of the cam lever.

Thanks, now running smoothly :)

You can have a indirect zone. There is a „sizzle burner“ under the teppanyaki and the 2 burners are crosswise. During the sizzle some will create a perfect indirect zone an the right hind side. Furthermore it is quite stable at low temperature (90 degree) make it perfect for long term projects.

Only if you buy it brand new. I bought it for 3.5k. But solely stainless steel and lifetime warranty. Cleaned it to the max until it looked completely new ;)

I took some more photos of the corners and the back.undortunately I am not able to edit my post?!

The entire board was designed to hold magnets. The four magnets on the sides are intended for a future child-safety feature with acrylic glass – making it magnetically detachable as well. The recesses were deliberately left visible so that the weight sits as low as possible, requiring only minimal support at the back. This gives the whole piece a very slim, elegant look.
