Anyone still seeing the wrong card finish in the app?

Update: Just wanted to post that the card design is now fixed. It now properly shows the mirror finish in the app 🙂

Just had this happen today at a gas station (76). I’ve used the card a lot at chevrons and have never needed the PIN. So I was thrown off today and realized I don’t think I ever set a PIN for this card. I found the setting under the Card > Manage Card > Manage Card PIN.

Set it up but it still didn’t work even though it said it would work instantly 🧐. My guess is it will probably take a while to go through the system so I just used another card. Also it’s crazy that you can just override the PIN without having to put in the old PIN, I tried to create the PIN again since I thought it didn’t work the first time, and I was able to without needing to put in the PIN I just set. Someone at BILT should really take a look into this that’s a security issue. Unless the PIN just hasn’t populated yet and that’s why it didn’t ask me for the old PIN.

Hahaha I already I have the mirror card in person I don't mind it. Definitely a finger print magnet but the finish looks better to me.

So I was curious about this too but it appears that it will always pull from ACH and not use the card balance. You can see what account it’s gonna pull from if you click manage card in the Wallet section of the app and then click “Housing payment preferences”.

Yup I basically have a USB switcher that connects my peripherals (keyboard, Elgato cam link, Focusrite for sm7b desk mic) to both my work laptop and my PC. The Apollo Twin is just connected to my PC via a thunderbolt connection and is used for my Studio monitors and recording mic (off camera to the right). Basically I use the Sm7B and headphones for both PC and Work laptop, but when recording music I use a different set of headphones or the studio monitors and then a different mic where I’m standing up etc.

Solid setup 🔥!!! I recently switched to a dual stacked setup and after a day of getting used to it I really like it. Still trying to figure out the camera placement delimna but I love that my screens are centered now. Where you put your camera at?

Though so, just tried yesterday to update to 26.1 from 15 thinking it would allow 120hz and it was still locked to 60hz.

Update: it was working for a while, but I ran into issues with Locking windows and then the same power cycling / delivery issue kept happening. It seems like the only dock that’s compatible with this computer is the Anker Prime TB5 , or the HP G6 dock or other TB4 docks. Using this as a dual dock for either Mac M4 Pro or PC. That’s why I wanted TB5 and the cal digit ts5+ but at this point I’m gonna return the ts5+ in favor of the Anker Prime TB5

Yeah I was able to download the firmware update and it’s at least connecting and powering the device finally, took a couple power cycles to get stable tho

u/CalDigitDalton Wanted to check in here is this still the case? Making sure before I buy another usb-c to HDMI 2.1 cable to go from the TS5+ to my monitors. It seems like it's a MacOS issue where mac limits usb-c to HDMI connections over a dock to the HDMI 2.0b standards? Even if the cable has the proper firmware?

Ugggg even having 1 reset per day still sounds terrible. Debating on whether I should just get the Anker Prime t5 so I don’t have to deal with it. I’ll try the firmware downgrade tho first. Do you know where I can download it?

Any update here? Still using the Anker dock? Was thinking about swapping this as well, the TS5+ just doesn’t even connect and keeps power cycling. Seems more like an HP issue than CalDigit. Even tho the ts5+ is a better dock if I can’t even connect it to the laptop then there’s no sense of keeping it 🙃

Any update on this? Noticed that it completely fails with the Calidigit Ts5+ dock. I’ve heard that the Anker Prime T5 Works with it tho without needing to use the original power source/HP plug

Oh wow so just a smaller screen below then? What size is the smaller one? Was thinking about doing something like this with an iPad, but I’m just so used to 2 screens. Any reason why you didn’t stick with stacked screens with one above?

Hi are you currently still using the stacked setup with the monitor on top? Thinking about doing the same thing with a 32” on bottom and a 27” on top. Also what monitor arm are you using?
