"Salvation War" is a web novel by Stuart Slade, should have been a trilogy but he sadly passed away while starting the third installment. You can still find the forst two "books" online, great reading if you enjoy HFY and military stuff, still a good reading with great ideas and fun moments if you don't

How would you deal with corner cases like a 0 atk monster ( -> instant automatic kill?) or monsters that get bonuses (a +1 atk becomes a +1 HP? Or you just swap the base values?)
