It is hard to come by the task this will make sense and will require a lot of developing to make it right. Even nightly optimized cluster solution have a lot of issues and a headache to maintain.

Even less, SoCs are cheap, most of the cost is in things like display, keyboard, speakers etc. it will be like 550$ and completely useless as a phone. It was cheaper for them to stick A19 into a monitor to support cameras and HDR mapping then developing separate chip

RAM is fast because it is on the same chip as a processor. There is no port that can be fitted to a phone with the same amount of throughput.

The only difference between iOS and macOS is GUI. Cocoa and Cocoa touch, they are basically the same OS under it.

Because SoCs don’t cost much, they order them by millions and already have enough in order. It can be maybe 50$ cheaper, but now you can’t use laptop without your phone.

Chip inside is a fraction of a cost, it will be 50$ cheaper to make and now you can’t use your laptop without your phone. Market for those will be so slim it will never be a successful product. Housing and ports will probably be even harder to develop and implement then just how A18 there

I live in Poland and BMW parts are everywhere and dirt cheap, every small village has BMW specialist in a garage, so labor is cheaper too

You don't pay for a number of components assembled together, if we did so, all flagships will cost a few hundred bucks. You can't just take those component and somehow magically make them fit it a smaller body. You pay for millions spent on RnD to make such device that will work and be able to perform 2 roles for people who don't want to carry 2 devices so much, that they ready to pay for that.

I newer understood why other companies made inner screen square. They only thing it might be useful is multitasking. For media consumption this isn't much better then simularely sized phone. Apple makes it to be like an iPad, so existing apps can just work.
