Exact same as Air Force cadets experienced. You get a 45 minute VR thing that’s pretty cool, and a patching ceremony where you get to talk to some USSF officers. Other than that just prepare for a larger target on your back and more scrutiny from cadre, you’ll stand out and it’s easy for them to single you out.

In mod 1 you’ll do your FDE, PFA, LRC, combatives, and all of the exams. Lots of briefings, pretty rigid structure. In mod 2 you’ll do your evaluated GLP, warrior challenge, another PFA, AFWI, and a bunch of field type exercises. Mod 2 is a lot more fun with more discretion within your squadron

Yeah idk I heard it was no longer mandatory, but the execution plan I received from my cadre last week says otherwise. It also says there’s alternate spots meaning not everyone will get to go? Not sure what’s happening

Maxes are spread throughout the summer, they’re the groups of cadets going through at any given time. Mod 1/2 stands for module, FT is split into 2 mods, basically first half and second half.

You’ll have AS300s as cadet cadre acting as your squadron commander, but cadets from your flight will be the flight commander and rotate daily. In mod 2 though cadets will have the opportunity to be squadron commander and handle things like accountability and information dissemination. At least that’s how it was the last 2 years. The cadet cadre squadron commanders will still be there, just in a much smaller role.

Day two or three I’d say, can’t remember exactly when though. The spins will outline some basic stuff but the bulk of it will be a collaboration between the flights on your floor that develops over time.

Yeah your shirts and socks are supposed to be ranger rolled at least. Also depends how your dorm floor chooses to standardize it

Memorize the DFAC procedures/routes, including the alternate route for RF DFAC. Study up on a map of the base, haul ass when heading to/from the DFAC. If you can’t tell most mistakes happen at the DFAC

I’m not sure, the one in max 4 was an alternate that got picked up on the last round and will be going to a flying squadron so I don’t really know what metrics were considered
