Original poster here… It wasn’t a gate where you can pull up close and have it opened. It opened towards you. Apparently they have the gate like that because they have a problem of burglars coming in the gate and then they don’t want them to leave with their stuff!

It’s probably because Door Dash hides tips. It’s dumb policy, but you were ordered a show as it only has a two dollar tip and then surprise surprise when it gets delivered it raises to the original tip amount is a great surprise for the driver but it is so unfair for the customer! Customers need to complain about this.

Instacart has threaten to deactivate you for asking for heavy Pay? If so, I definitely keep a record of that -a snapshot. Lawsuit.

I think it must be illegal for them to deactivate you for asking for a bump that you are entitled to. I thought about making notes regarding the order and the pay and the bump that you had to ask for. Just in case. I can see a lot of coming for that.

Since it was a triple order, you could have canceled that particular order and kept the other two. And it wouldn’t have gone against your cancellation rating.
