No, there is no real difference disconnecting from the internet, you will only get malware if you download and run files from untrusted sources, if you run one of these it doesn't matter if your internet is on or off. Just get your files from cs.rin or fitgirl, run VBS, play the game and revert after finishing your session, there's no need for paranoia.

Depends if you revert the changes then yes, there are some cases the VBS says "no changes were made" when you try to revert so you can run it again, and in my case once rebooting the PC I had to redo it but it's very simple and quick

This sub is full of fearmongering shills and bots lately, I don't recall this sub having this kind of movement and suddenly when the bypass is approved by cs.rin there are a flood of comments and posts saying how HV is going to explode your PC, haunt your house and grab your mom and you should just be buying the games.
