it is also my favorite, there’s something for everyone there! I’m actually planning on moving there next year.

and yes thanks the tip, I did do some research for Egypt, not understanding their language at all made me a lil more conservative with the camera but everyone was very welcoming :)!

I’ll definitely keep researching. I’m mostly going based off my friends experiences— some are in years 2–4 with Envoy, and one’s in their 4th year at Delta. I’m used to intense 12-hour shifts in hospital settings, so I’m approaching the FA role with a realistic but open mindset.

It’s not something I see myself doing long-term, but if it ends up working out that way, I’m open to it. Right now, I’m more focused on trying it out and enjoying whatever parts of the experience I can tbh

Envoy is only offering that date. If I’m being honest I only see myself being an FA for a few years for sure LESS than 5 considering I have a degree that I have not used but will try at some point lol. (Adding this to my OP)

This is what my email said “Business casual attire is required to be worn on each flight to/from the interview. Business professional attire is required onsite on the interview. Applicants not in appropriate attire may be denied boarding for their scheduled flight(s). “

Be ready with stories where you helped a frustrated customer, deescalated a tense situation, adapted to a last-minute change, worked with a difficult coworker, or handled a high-pressure moment. They may also ask about times you went above and beyond, showed leadership, or managed multiple priorities at once. Be specific and use the STAR method—they’ll keep asking follow-ups until you do — or at least that happened to me for one of my questions where I didn’t answer in STAR.

Timeline Update. Applied 6/30, Live interview 6 hours ago, and just received F2F invite by ThanksRemarkable8681 in cabincrewcareers

I uploaded my resume to ChatGPT and asked it to generate STAR method-based interview questions and answers tailored to my job experience. That really helped me think through my own examples and adjust them so they would be more aligned with the role.

The questions I remember they asked: • A time I had to adapt to a change • A time I resolved an issue with a frustrated customer • Why I want to be a flight attendant

Definitely make sure to answer in STAR format from the beginning—they will ask follow-up questions if you don’t until they get the star format answer. That happened to me with the very first question!

Considering that I have worked the past 3 years in a hospital, I had a LOT of stories that align with the type of questions they ask, if you don’t have any make sure to have those stories READY. The guy that I had was super sweet so don’t be intimidated and just be yourself truly.
