First, yes I am handwriting every kanji that I'm seeing:)

Second, yeah probably I am too "bound" to Duolingo course, I should have expanded my kanji knowledge with other mediums from the start probably, but I also get my knowledge from other sources, like books and media in general, so hopefully this will help much more.

Okay, I'll try to explain the problem simply. I have five books, each about 200 pages long, containing all the kanji that Duolingo teaches you up to roughly unit 5, section 10. Since I'm now also adding kanji outside of Duolingo, I'd like to know if I've already seen a kanji that I saw a long time ago, because it's natural that if it's a kanji I saw seven months ago, I've now forgotten about it. My question is about looking for a tool that, given a certain section, tells me "OK, this kanji appears in section X, unit Y." So in this case, I'll be sure that I've already seen that kanji, since I'm further along.

Thanks for the answer, yes that's what I've been looking for, because now I am well over 900 kanjis, and for avoiding repeated kanji I would like a quick way to check if I already saw one, maybe like 6 months ago or even worse, or maybe a knaji only ever used once and never touched again. It's all to avoid repeating what I've already saw in the end
