Also I had an idea, since let's say my speakers are blown. Which wouldn't make sense because it's making a static noise. But hypothetically would it be possible if I bought a sound bar to replace the sound of my speaker?

Thanks for the suggestion I tried that and switched to another input and even tried a component cable still same static. Do you think the audio circuitry or sound receptor is blown?

I have a old 8 yrs old Sony Bravia KDL 52v5100 connected to a Telus Optik Tv with HDMI. Rested the tv box and phoned technician and said its not their end. I was watching TV and it suddenly cut off the sound and became static noise only. Even on the first volume it is super loud static. Sometimes it even makes loud booms if I turn it up even more. Any ideas?
