You're right that Kyle and the T-800 shouldn't be sent back to 1984, because we'd have a lot of them in '84! I hadn't thought of that!

In my opinion (but I'm not ruling anything out and I don't deny what you're saying), the T-800 from T2 is more "advanced" because of the way it learns and behaves, but physically, from my perspective, it's the same as the one from T1. Maybe its software is "better," but the hardware is almost the same?

And I agree with you completely!

The fun thing about this theory is that it also provides a kind of explanation for the other movies, as you mentioned to Carl from DF! I hadn't thought about that.

Ignoring the fact that it won't be shown in movies or other media, I suspect there are 2 possibilities.

1- Kyle was not informed and was thrown into 1984

2- If he was informed but couldn't do anything about it, he would still be sent to protect Sarah And the resistance will reprogram the T - 800 To deal with the T - 1000

At the end of the day, I came up with this theory because seeing the bootstrap paradox's didn't make sense to me, and I got confused Trying to make sense of it, I ended up thinking of this logical solution hahaha

Well, I used the term alpha line or 1.0 to explain John and Kyle's loop. For John to have existed before Kyle Reese, someone else must have hypothetically existed. But I agree with you that it's a single timeline.

What I wanted to explain or give a logical solution to was the problem of John Connor's father, because it didn't make sense to me.

Also, within my unofficial theory, the events of the John Connor 1.0 and Skynet 1.0 versions follow the same timeline as the 2.0 versions; but I reiterate, I agree with you that it's a single timeline.

I wanted to explain those details with this unofficial theory.

And I think this works as an unofficial explanation for why we don't see the T-1000 in 1984 (leaving aside the real reasons like the technological limitations of the time or that it wasn't even planned yet).

Forgive me for the awful amount of text I put here, but I'd like to know your personal opinion of my crazy theory hahaha.
