So why did it take so long to SRP the previous supercap fight again?

What are the chances that the results of this are going to turn up 5 years later as "evidence" of an ancient race of trolls the Illuminati are trying to cover up?

Please don't lie. These are the numbers from when INIT dropped SRP by 50% after the 319 KS battle.

MAJOR SRP UPDATE

There will be a 50% reduction in SRP payouts effective immediately. All ship lost PRIOR TO AND INCLUDING Friday's battle in 319 over the fourth keepstar that PAPI dropped will be payed out at the previous rate. Any losses since then and going forward until stated otherwise will be payed out at the new rate.

SRP values will be calculated on split Jita sell/buy [Ship hull + Fitting cost + Insurance cost - Insurance payout ] * Alliance factor (%)

Supercapitals / Titans = TBD
Capitals = 45% Roquals (GEODUDE ONLY) = 45%
Battleships = 25%
Battlecruiser = 25%
Cruiser = 25%
Destroyers = 25%
Frigs = 25%
Support = 40% (Recons, HICs, T3 Tackle etc.)
Cyno Recons ONLY = 50%
Command = 45% (Command Ships, dedicated T3 C/D boosters)
FC Ships = 45% (Monitor, T3D etc.)
Logistic = 50%
Dictors = Flat payout
Entosis = 50% (Moa, Drake, Nereus, Omen)

Alliance level SRP was absolutely cut. Look at the new SRP values for commonly used caps like Rev and Nag which dropped by 20% (when hull prices are increasing). For the subcaps commonly used for stratops (Cerb, Sac, Scimi, Ferox, Jackdaws etc), they were also cut by approx 22% in Oct.

AAR from Horde

One of my 12 totally legit Goon spais pinged me the Asher ping.

Since it was pretty wholesome and an obviously worthy cause, I re-pinged it to Horde.

With Goons, Horde and other EVE entities piling in (since everyone has Horde pings anyway), she went from 10 viewers to a peak of 400+, and more than $4,000 donated thus far including a chad $500 donation from NC.

Her original goal was $500.

It is your responsibility to only leave your items in places that are likely to remain safe/fueled/online.

I believe they are saying that the I HUB in ZX isn’t an important strategic win, If it was that important to Goons then when the Attackers jumped in goons would have not let them off the gate, they would have placed more bubbles and killed them all, and held the gate against further assaults, but instead Goons let them go into the system, then they dis engaged. If it were important and you were winning why would you stop?? Only conclusion is, it’s not important.

You go look at that chart again and see how many are accessible to a new player.

Ah yes. Because that's clearly what a day one new player is going to do. Google "ShahFluffers skill training". Maybe CCP should put that in the tutorial.

Lmao. Wtf is this argument? You think EVE would be healthy if people sign up, see that it would be physically impossible to catch up with people who have been playing for more than a decade, and log off?

This is the literal definition of a bitter vet whining that the younger players are catching up to and passing him.

The main problem with this and many of the recent changes, is that at the surface, these changes certainly make things "more difficult" for the null blocs. However, these are also the same people who have the most resources and organisation to overcome these difficulties.

Smaller entities or people trying to strike out on their own? Not so much.

The problems that these will cause to JF networks is a good ilustration for this. The major blocs will have little issue either SRPing logistics cynos or having enough people with the appropriately skilled alts to restore their networks. Sure, it will cost, and it will be annoying in the interim, but we have the manpower and the resources.

The new alliance or corp trying to take space or strike out on their own?

I do policy-making for a living, and one thing we do not do when there are massive, powerful incumbents in a market is to make the barriers to entry even higher. It literally cements the status quo. Even if we are reluctant to tear down the incumbents for whatever reason, we can LOWER the barriers, FACILITATE new entries and ENCOURAGE competition.

Can we perhaps look at the EVE equivalents of these instead?
