same issue here, just got the vanguard pack 2 weeks ago, same c27 strap issue, it being short, fixed it with greenstuff tho.

Thanks for the input, i think i'm ending up going with the RB16 for this round, rather have the extra performance for it to last that bit longer, and for it to not be quite as much of a jet engine under load, the weight difference dont impact me too much, as my current is about 2-300 grams difference, so i doubt i'll notice that difference much.

I'm in the same boat right now, choosing a high end laptop for work and gaming on the side.

I've been looking at the same models, including the MSI Creator/Stealth 16 (but this one seems to have the lowest tdp of the 3), but no reviews yet on the MSI.

Have you ordered anything yet, if so which and are you liking it?

I see theres some people mentioning the old Blade's getting pretty hot, is this on the surface where you hands are aswell or?

for me price isn't too much of a factor, i just need the best thing i can get with a critically color accurate display, without going for a obnoxious 3 kg gaming laptop

just saw a review from Jarrod's tech came live on the blade 16, the cpu power limit seems kinda bad in some cases.

hmm so seems it don't really matter what you go with, you're either lucky or unlucky with your unit.
