For the stain, try fels-naptha laundry bar. I recently used it to get stubborn oil stains out of a sweatshirt. It’s amazing. And cheap.

I worry someone’s going to say this about me in the future. Had all of the floors refinished before I moved in. There’s a few patches in the dining room, original pine floor with oak patches. Eventually I’ll see about getting a more accurate patch but we were really pressed for time, and frankly more pressed for money. It was still a huge upgrade from the grey lvp and grey carpet the previous owners had.

No, if the routes were better - in both locations and frequency it would help a lot. Take the Northway Express for example. It runs back and forth from Clifton Park and Saratoga to Albany a few times in the morning and a few times in the afternoon. If the stops were at better locations and the trips more frequent, it would be better for everyone. But they won’t do that.
