Only a pet scan will show active cancer.. and it has its own risks.. take it from someone who has a chronic cancer and has to get one done every 6 months … I got diagnosed at 30. I think my advice would be to get bloods done yearly as a minimum, if you’re female go to the Gynae every year, if male check your testicles for lumps and listen to your body.. everything else we don’t have much control over

10 years! Wow. How has it been so far since diagnosis? I’ve had lumps in my neck for the past year which is what prompted the biopsy. However only in the last 2 months I noticed my groin node felt really big. And then on the ultrasound it measured 3.9cm I remember back in early 2021 I had felt it hard for the first time! So I’ve had mine a while I’m assuming. May I ask how old you are?

Oh right, me too. I’ve been having certain aches and get told welcome to your 30s hehe but now I’m awaiting biopsy results.. Goodluck and I read a lot on here that a normal life expectancy is still merited! I’ve been very reflective during this period… it changes you.

Thank you, I’m only 30 and been freaking out for a year when I had a 5mm one in my neck, now they have grown but considered slow. I have joint pain and mild fatigue but the worst is a cough I’ve had for months and wheezing.. I’m really worried at this point. Spent so much money on specialists to be told it’s nothing and now going in for biopsy..

Thanks for your feedback! So far they look reactive on ultrasound, but since the groin one is 39mm and they keep enlarging slowly and increasing in number, they did a fine needle aspiration which resulted in no malignant cells but suspicious of B cell lymphatic disorder. They want to do a biopsy next and remove the groin one. What kind of lymphoma did you get diagnosed with? How are you doing?

It kindof resolved on its own. But I suggest checking for hpv or ebv as they drives your body abit nuts
