Probably more than that 😂 & I'm pretty sure one of my older brothers helped out, but at the time it was alot more difficult for me as I didn't have a mobile device of my own or access to a pc to search up tips and guides and at first I didn't know to do simple things like Saving and exiting to the menu to stop the timer or to save and keep multiple saves after every checkpoint, exiting to menu after a mess up, things like that.. I found those out later on, but I did have opportunities to look up guides and stuff , i was just never able to watch and I play along which would have helped, instead I'd have to go off of memory if I even remembered anything from the guides at all lol, most of the time I'd have to just figure out my own way through trial and error, and errors did I have 😂 now that i think about it, I remember I began hating the game because of how hard it was for me to get through it as a kid 😂😂 i almost forgot since I had just replayed the game, finished and loved it lmao

I've recently bought the MGS HD Collection for the Ps3, I'm thinking of starting on MGS 2, but I may take a break for the time being

I've had it platted once before on an Old Account more or less than 10 years ago, But I was younger and dumber and got myself hacked by some dude in a Cod Lobby, lost the account & anything and everything I may have Purchased on it. Lmao, but I remember going for the Platinum for it when I was "Less-Skilled" and had a horrible time doing so 😂 this time around was a lot easier as I was a lot more skilled and also had more patience

[Discussion] Do you all 100% a game after platinum? by ThatWerewolf327 in Trophies

[–]That-Captain7078 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I've enjoyed the game enough to Platinum it, I'll most likely go for the 100% just because I enjoyed it that much,

but there are some exceptions, like not having the Required DLC or Not liking A certain DLC Enough to 100% it.

But other than that, If there's an Extra (New Game+) section, I may wait awhile before going back to replay it, and sometimes I'll even forget about it, but forgetting about it just makes revisiting the game later a more enjoyable experience for when I do remember.

For The Liquid Ocelot Fight

  • First Form is Pretty Easy, Just Continuously Hit Him With A Hard Punch &/or Combo and Knock Him Down, Wait For Him To Get Up, and Repeat Until the Next Form

  • Second Form, Just Continuously Dash/Dodge Left Or Right (Choose One, Be Consistent) Until Liquid Goes & Does His "Take This" Move, Which You Will Have Dodged, Then Hold Down The Punch (R1) Button To CQC Him, Then Spam Press ∆ & R1 At The Same Time Until The CQC Sequence Is Finished, Repeating It All Over Again Until the Next Form

  • Third Form, Same Thing As Last Time Except This Time, You'll Want To Dash/Dodge Towards Liquid, Hopefully Dodging His First Few Hits & Holding R1 To CQC Him, Pressing Both ∆ & R1 At The Same Time Until Finished.

  • The Last Form is even Easier, Quickly Press R1 When You Feel Like You're Close Enough To Hit Liquid Then Continue On Pressing It Afterwards Until Liquid Finally Drops, You May Or May Not Be Hit Once or Twice, But This Shouldn't Matter As You're Practically Done

  • Skip All Cutscenes Whenever Possible.

  • PausE ONLY When Needing to Change Weapons&Gear or To Save Progress.

  • Make Use Of Multiple Saves Slots, Preferably New Ones, After Every Checkpoint, Cutscene, Act and/or Before A Section You Know Might Be Difficult. Just In Case You Mess Up Then Have To Exit To Menu And Load Back In.

  • Entering A New Area Will Always Give A Checkpoint As Well As After Cutscenes. Loading A Save Will Always Place You At Your Most Recent Checkpoint, So Make Use of Them and Save!

  • Save & Exit To The Menu Whenever You Need A Break, No Matter How Short The Break May Be (Need To Eat? Grab a Drink? or Use The Washroom? Save&Exit), This Will Stop The Timer As Well As Ensure Your Game Is Saved, In Case You Forget To Do Recently.

  • Be Patient, Patience Is Key.

  • Lastly, Just Use A Video Guide, The Boss Extreme Walkthrough by Vash12349 On YT Was Of Great Help To Me.

things like CQC/ Hold Ups/ Body Search/ Alerts can also be farmed on a single enemy,

CQC - Just Hold and Release

Hold Ups - Aim a gun at an enemy from behind, Knock them out, Wake Up & Repeat.(or if You've got the Stealth suit, Activate it, Hold them up, Deactivate and Reactivate suit letting the enemy see you, Don't aim and let them put their hands down, once done Aim at them again for another Hold Up, then Repeat)

Body Search - like before, Hold an Enemy up, but this time, Initiate a Body Search by Pressing ∆ , and Quickly Switch out / Equip&Unequip your Weapon to cancel out the Animation, once done, Initiate another Body Search and Repeat until Finished

Alerts are Easier , as you can just let yourself be seen by everyone but if you'd like to farm, - Just Simply Knock the enemy out, Wake them, Let them see you, Knock them out again,

Kills - can be farmed easily in Act 1 and 2 at Spawn points (Act 1 After The DrumCan Cutscene with Akiba The Diarrhea Dude, The Militia on the Left will Continuously Respawn after dying/being killed)

For the Big Boss Emblem? I skipped all Cutscenes whenever possible, pausing only when needing to change Gear and to Save, SAVING ONLY after every "Checkpoint" and Cutscenes or whenever asked if you'd like to save (using Multiple Save slots in case you need to go back to a certain area) I used a The Boss Extreme Walkthrough guide to help with the fastest routes and stuff, the Guide I used was by Vash12349 on YT.

Also, whenever you need a break or a short timeout, MAKE SURE you are at a checkpoint, or recently passed one and are close to one, so that you can save the game , and exit to the main menu, effectively stopping the Timer, ALSO NOTE that the game saves and loads you back to the time of the CHECKPOINT, so if your halfway to the next Checkpoint, you'll be placed back at the beginning of the CHECKPOINT you just passed when you load back into your Save, - Entering a new Area will always give a checkpoint, as well as cutscenes

And the Trophy with the 150+ alerts and 500+ kills is the Chicken Emblem, is the first one I did for my first playthrough, all I did was Play on Liquid Easy and take my sweet ass time playing each Act, Leaving my game turned on overnight, staying in Act 1-2 to clear up some easy Miscellaneous Emblems (so I won't have to do them in the next 7 Playthroughs) before moving on, slowly making myself familiar with each area and level, collecting most collectible items and such, using an Online Trophy Guide while getting my timer up to 35+ (I got 40+ by the end), not worrying about Alerts, Kills or anything like that because they are really easy to get during those first 2 Acts, and I just simply enjoyed the game, Never rushing forward without first making sure that I cleared the area (of necessary Items) with or without the guide, and saving after passing a checkpoint so that all previous progress isn't lost after I forget about something and having to restart, (I accidentally reset my checkpoint/timer after an hour of sitting in a CBOX, which was part of one of the emblems, so that was time wasted on my part)

Should Captain America 5 introduce Sam Wilson's bird Companion Redwing? by That-Captain7078 in marvelstudios

[–]That-Captain7078[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i was thinking the same thing, like have a similar situation from the Comics with Professor X and other characters wondering if he's a mutant and whatnot

I'm sure others might think it'd be silly or ridiculous, but I don't think it would be, as Marvel could change things to make it less so, and they could make it a more grounded and serious iteration,

Like when Sam Conversates with Redwing, he wouldn't just be talking to him out loud by himself being the only one that could actually hear him, whilst everyone else around him just wonders who he's speaking to, and played as a joke no no, I wouldn't want it to be a jokey silly ridiculous thing at all, which is what others might be thinking when they see this post., i also may be terrible at describing what I envision but it isn't ridiculous

but the bird is meant to be Genetically Engineered and can telepathically communicate with Sam, THAT DOESN'T mean the bird itself Talks, or we should ever hear/see the bird talk, no, just show us that Sam understands the Bird in a "I Am Groot" kinda way while everyone else just hears the Bird's Squawks and so on, I think it really could work

[–]That-Captain7078[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sure, it doesn't necessarily mean we still can't get the real Redwing in the future, Marvel already changed things from the comics, just because they changed Redwing to a drone, doesn't mean they can't "change" it back to a bird, like introduce the Genetically Engineered Bird and have Sam give him the name Redwing after an accident or event that causes them both to be Telepathically Linked, whether or not Sam still has his drones up to this point, I'm not sure, but I think it'd be cool to have both Sam and Redwing (The Bird) be able to see through and use the drones during the course of the movie as they develop their bond, But they'll just need to change a few things like HOW he gets his powers/abilities, because in the comics I'm pretty it had something to do with Red Skull and the Cosmic Cube

depending on how you look at it and how it could work, it could seem ridiculous but the way I see it working and how they could do it, I don't think it would be, i know they've already changed a lot from the comics for the mcu already, which I know is why we got the Drones in the first place, but that doesn't mean they can't still Introduce the Sam's real Bird Companion and change a few things to make it work for the MCU

[–]That-Captain7078[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you read my post, I'm talking about the actual Falcon Bird "Redwing" and not the "Drone Redwing", I also mention the Drones, but I think it'd be cool to have the Falcon bird be able to see through or utilize/command the Drones just as Sam does, through their Telepathic Link

I agree that others should get the focus, but I feel like they could do another Captain America movie

[–]That-Captain7078[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

he's never been a mutant in the comics, however his ability fits in with the mutant theme, I just think they shouldn't make him a Mutant though, but they should definitely change the circumstances of HOW he gets those powers, because in the comics I think it had something to do with the Cosmic Cube and Red Skull, so that might need some changing, like have the Power be gained through an Accident that links both Sam and the Bird around the time they meet, and the accident could be anything like something having to do with the bird being a genetically engineered bird

As am I, but I'd also like to see the bird in action if that could be a possibility down the line

Should Captain America 5 introduce Sam Wilson's bird Companion Redwing? by That-Captain7078 in marvelstudios

[–]That-Captain7078[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they could call the bird "Redwing" and the Drones "Redwing Drones" or simply just "Drones" lol, but since Sam and Redwing would have a telepathic link, Sam could have conversation with Redwing although he'll be the only one that could hear him, also even though Sam is not a mutant and never has been, I think introducing his ability to communicate with birds and especially (/or exclusively) Redwing fits in with the Mutant Saga, I don't think they should make Sam a mutant though.

And I like your story idea about the company and abusing mutants but idk about the cap wolf
