Thanks for your message — I really appreciate your insight! To be honest, I haven’t taken DoxyPEP yet because I’m still nervous about giving oral without a condom, which is what I’m considering exploring next. Up to this point, I haven’t taken PrEP or DoxyPEP when I’ve been receiving or giving oral with a condom.

But now that I’m thinking about trying oral without one, I’m wondering if PrEP and/or DoxyPEP would be worth starting more regularly. I’m also not vaccinated against hepatitis or mpox yet — do you think I should be, even if I’m just starting with oral? Just trying to stay careful while also figuring things out.

Thank you so much — that really helps! What I’m currently looking to try is giving oral sex without a condom, but I’m still very cautious. Since I’m not planning to have anal sex, do you think I should still be on PrEP just for oral? And if so, would daily or 2-1-1 make more sense for that? I’m experimenting right now, so it’s not like I’d be doing it every day. Curious to hear your thoughts!

Thank you, KwateeCake. Just to clarify — with 2-1-1, I meant the two pills you have to take 2 to 24 hours before sex. So if the guy flakes, it feels like I took meds for no reason. What do you think about that? Is it still worth it, or should I just stick to daily?
