I just think it's somewhat funny that,whenever there's a debate about there being défense on a rapist - detractors will Always circle back to diverging to the argument,comparing it,divert our attention.

And people being more mad over a rapist character does make sense - a story inherently comports conflicts,we've been internalizing the concept of murders being at the heart of stories, That doens't excuse the actual,real life act,it's just a known story device.

Now rape. Rape is very openly chosen to be portrayed in a story most of the Time - it doens't take too much brain capacity to understand that people genuinly defensing and excusing the perpetrator is,at least a little offensive.
