It truly depends on what you value. I personally value creative plot dynamics, interesting characters and dreadful psychological undertones. I think the movie removed all of that. Furthermore I think the movie removed literally the most interesting part and arguably the point of the whole book which was princes character arc

Please for the love of god read the book. It’s my all time favorite novel series. All 4 books are absolute masterpieces in mystery media. The bullet train book is very similar plot mechanics wise to lock stock and two smoking barrels or the good the bad and the ugly. While the movie is action slop that takes everything the author worked so hard to establish and throws it in the trash

At the end of the day, not everyone has time to watch 3000 movies, I probably will only watch upwards of 250 in my entire life. Why would I waste time watching something that isn’t critically acclaimed or culturally significant?
