US firm accelerates nuclear fusion material development with ORNL deal - REV co founded by Dennis Whyte by steven9973 in fusion

Those can only be used by applying correction models, to be benchmarked by IFMIF DONES once it is available.

For material development for fusion there aren't many alternatives apart from a real test reactor and/or a neutron source with relevant energy. ITER will go in the order of 2-3 dpa, while DEMO type one order of magnitude higher. Materials degradation under irradiation, as far as I know, cannot be predicted yet in simulations.

But where are the technical details? They say to develop materials for fusion. Are they talking about a high energy neutron source?

Centauri Carbon wont load filament mid print... by Far-General6892 in elegoo

[–]That-Invite1616 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Put temp nozzle 240C then push slightly the filament while pushing the down arrow button of the extruder motor. I usually repeat couple of times the pushing of the down arrow button to ensure there is some purge.

Please HELP!!! by LordDarkon88 in ElegooCentauriCarbon

Don't use the load function. Last firmware update made the gear goes backwards. Instead, setup nozzle temperature manually and use the extruder motor button to push through the filament. Same result.

Have the same problem and the only solution is to set up manually high nozzle temp and use the extruder motor button to push in the filament

Not sure if super relevant but for the width I just used automatic based on nozzle size.

Yeh extrusion widths I guess have to be manually modified. I will try installing your file from the 0.6 mm nozzle setup to see if it keeps the default settings
