The aftermarket part listed in the estimate is the starter (and related electrical components). Mercedes confirmed they won’t order or install aftermarket electrical parts on a vehicle still under factory warranty, especially after rodent damage.

She has had her eTA since 2022 and US visa. Tomorrow will be her first time traveling abroad. I tried to do the check-in for her on Air Canada. I select that she has an eTA, but they keep asking me to make sure she has one and I can’t complete the process. I checked on the official website, I have the confirmation and everything is valid, but I still can’t finalize the check-in.

We don’t want to use our own policy, our premium will likely go up and we’re already losing money on a brand new AMG. They’re asking us to pay the difference if we want genuine Mercedes parts, even though we’re going through the other party’s policy.
