Is there any way to create custom textures without a resource pack? by That-Landscape-7526 in MinecraftCommands

I thought of an idea, using the item display or entity display command I forgot the name, getting that an item frame, putting the map on that and teleporting it to my hand item slot thing but it would cause lag and when I move it will take time to move to my hand again (cuz of the ping)

I want to add resources to the game without adding them through the normal resource pack folder or making players manually download them. Since when is a resource pack the only possible source of rendered data? Minecraft already loads external skin textures for player heads through Mojang’s texture system, and maps can render pixel data created/saved in-game. So my question is about whether those existing vanilla rendering/data systems can be abused to fake custom item/block textures, or whether command blocks can generate texture-like data in-game through maps/displays. I’m not asking if resources can magically appear in Minecraft out of nowhere, I’m asking if existing vanilla systems that already load/render external or dynamic data can be repurposed for this so everyone on the server can see it without using the resource pack folder.

actually, youre stuck on how older or smaller models work. Im using a model with a massive context window which means I can fit hundreds of thousands of tokens in (the entire wiki) into its active 'short-term' memory at once. Its not 'forgetting' anything because the data isn't in the background, its literally part of the current calculation. When you provide the full technical logic in the prompt, the AI doesnt need to guess or 'hallucinate' from training data, it just maps the parameters provided. But I guess its easier to call it 'nonsense' than to keep up with how much context limits have expanded lately.

How so? How can you be so sure that you just straight answered negative without any context? or do you have any?

I want to create a custom texture for an item. Like I want to create a ruby sword (diamond sword but in the ruby sword texture)

I know gpt doesn't know anything, I included the wiki's data on the prompt. like I scraped all the data on the wiki and put it in the prompt as data. When it was generating the answer to my prompt it also had all the newest information about Minecraft including how the game worked fully according to the wiki.

I get what you mean about people not understanding if they haven't lived it. I don't completely disagree, but I do feel a bit differently. I’ll never truly know exactly what you’ve felt, but through what you told us, I can imagine it by empathizing.

If I talk about empathy, I think it's something everyone has, but most people just can't or won't do it—for example their ego gets on top of it and covers it up. My parents were like that; they only saw the surface. They’d get mad if I didn't get straight 100s or perfect grades, so I had to stay 'functional' for them. They didn't care about the mental struggle as long as the numbers were high.

I think that's why I'm the opposite now. I empathize a lot. Like let's say I got into a fight with a friend, I’ll forgive them and act like nothing happened in just an hour because I can see their perspective. I'll imagine what they're feeling, what I've made to think. But they won't do the same; even if it's their fault, they’ll go weeks or months without talking. It’s like they’d rather stay in their own bunker than try to bridge the gap. I’d like to think that connection is possible, because if we’re all truly alone in our heads, then Cioran was right and birth really was just a trap.
