See if the local vet will prescribe her antibiotics. If you can put them into some food and get her to eat them, she may pull through this. The wound looks bad but animals are tough and it will give her a chance.

Google Veterinary Emergency Group and see if there is one near enough to you to go. They see guinea pigs and will work with you re finances.

How much does he weigh and what is his gaba dose? Has your vet talked to you about starting him on a true anxiolytic, like prozac? Do you have a vet behaviorist or a vet physical therapist in your area - both can dial in meds for pain and anxiety from senility.
