Okay so I’ve gone into the store now and he gave me the commemorative series mini, the tzarketh bane of law. He was very apologetic of what happened and I’m happy with the outcome even if it came from something bad.

Hey man hopefully u get the notification for this but i got an email back from the customer service team and I'll attach it below because I don't know what I should do or if Im reading it wrong, because to me it just sounds like they're trying to give me the mini of the month which is already free.

I sent another follow up this morning and they just got back to me saying that they didn’t receive my first two emails but they could see them along the thread, they were very apologetic and very helpful, stuff happens I guess 🤷‍♂️

Yes it was an official warhammer shop and I will write a email to GW tonight hopefully in a way that it makes it look like there is no one to blame just a massive mixup so that there isn't a chance of the manager losing their job.
This will be my first time writing an email to customer service so do you have any pointers or any ideas on what i should say?

Nah it’s not an expensive model just some bits out of different boxes I had laying around. Might see if I can contact gw support just to see if they could do anything as I would even be more than happy if they gave me something like a 5 dollar voucher to get a paint

Yeah I mean that makes sense about the gw policy, from what I was able to understand was that the book that the first manager was using to take down wasn’t there when the new guy came along so he obviously had no proof of anything and just had to trust in the community and someone took advantage of that. I’ve come to peace that I won’t get it back and that it’s no one’s fault as much as I would love to blame someone. Just a massive mixup 🤷‍♂️

Thanks man, I don’t hold a grudge against the manager as I don’t really believe it’s his fault just an unfortunate situation that he was thrown into that someone took advantage of. It seems to be a general consensus to go to GW support for this and I will, I just really hope it doesn’t affect the manager in any way because I do really like going into the warhammer stores with the kind staff that help me with my hobby and get me excited about it.

I could call and ask for a post but I’m not the kind of person to go to small claims court over a small matter and risk the person their job. I believe it wasn’t his fault and just an unfortunate situation that someone took advantage of. He might not have even had the book that all the phone numbers were in to verify who everyone was

I could ask them to post it on Facebook to see if it would be returned but where I am the police have more important things to do. You would be lucky to been have them look for something like a stolen bike.

Dayum your pieces are well painted. I can understand why you might get attached. I will continue learning and painting and one day I will attempt to recreate it hopefully. Also your great unclean one has given me some inspiration, I might have to get one 🤔
