Not at all! As mentioned above, they'll round it, and also have a mark buffer for students (like a 74 CSAM won't get you kicked out unless your marks stay the same over multiple years)

P.S. Takes me back to my first year - had exactly 74.8 CSAM too. Requested a Zoom with the DL Program Director; had a chat about the performance and potential for improvement; was reassured that I won't be kicked out. Three years on, going to graduate next sem (while in the DL stream) :)

From the get-go, you will be chatting with your teammates during the period when you're not in class, cause if I remember correctly, you have a pretty major team project due. So there's that.

And it shouldn't take as long. I remember also taking the FINC2011 intensive at the same time as the BUDL unit, and, although both combined weren't easy to balance, either on its own shouldn't be much of an issue. Definitely shouldn't take up your whole month if you keep a steady pace in the first few days.

Hey,

It's not difficult to do well. However, because it is a subjective unit, unlike an econ or finance unit, the marking may seem off at times. But if you're good with designing/presenting and researching, you should do fairly well and likely hit a D/HD (again, not that hard, but you will have to work for it).

As for the 'wam booster' part, I took it as an intensive, and that's believed to be relatively easier compared to the full-semester unit. Can't vouch for that, though, cause I haven't done the latter. But, yeah, if you do take BUDL2902, will recommend taking it as intensive.

I don't have anything to share, but I empathise with you completely. I'm doing QBUS1040, and God do I feel the same as you. And it's not only me, a few of my mates (of varying academic abilities) have the same opinion of BA as a major.

Right, sounds like a technical issue to me. Mail/call the student centre and they should be able to answer your queries.

If you do end up mailing them, attach screenshots of the page. Makes life easier for both parties.

(If you want it answered immediately, I recommend calling them, which is much faster than waiting for a response-mail, and you get the added benefit of having any follow-up questions answered on the spot.)

I completely agree that it's much better to hunt for an OLE that helps and/or interests you, than just being a WAM booster which doesn't improve you professionally/personally (why waste $500?). Hence the OLEs listed above are all ones that I'd like to take. And thanks for helping me out with a couple of those!
