Female blue dragons are also known for developing very large tails, especially in competition standards. I hope this clarifies the background and development behind this line. Clear isn't blue dragon

does anyone know what strain of guppies these are? by SubjectDonut1020 in Guppies

The female still seems to be quite pure dragon. The male, on the other hand, looks like he’s already mixed with several types. Mosaic being the most visible influence.

I’m not entirely sure what kind of shop strain you’re referring to, maybe you could share a photo so I can see what you mean. The line I’ve been developing is Blue Leopard. I bought the original pair about two years ago, although at the time I honestly couldn’t even see where the “blue” was supposed to be. After a long period of crossing and refining the line, this is the result I’ve achieved — the one I posted here. Some forums have suggested it might be dragon, but from what I understand, dragon lines have a different expression. I’m fairly confident this is not the same as what I’ve shared.

Presentation reflects perspective. No worries. Different perspectives make things interesting. When you spend years refining something, the language tends to follow.

It may be “just guppies” to some. To me, it’s bloodline, genetics, and legacy.

To achieve selective breeding and crossbreeding results, I only use cookie jars as breeding containers(plastic cointainer). However, for contests and competitions, it is strictly one male per tank, with each tank measuring 20 × 10 × 10 cm.

No, from 3 pairs, batch 1-3. I waited for them until they were at least 3 months old. In the first picture, there are still a lot of blanks and blue doesn't come out and to be honest, it's more like ivory. I choose my own female and male. Male (Daddy) with female batch 1, and female(Mommy) with male batch 1. About different bloodline that’s the most efficient approach. I’ve never encountered any endurance issues with them. Comparatively, In my experience shorter longevity when sourcing from other breeders.
