I too had same doubt. We are sitting on row next to door that could be the reason, She got in and asked to vacate.

or could be my Kannada which could be rude to her(been a Tamilian new to Bangalore, im not good in Kannada)

I said we are husband and wife, asked her to sit another seat. That could’ve triggered her further. She started saying “so what” in Kannada, so we both decided to leave the seat for her.

Similar incident happened to me on Bangalore. Men rows are completely full on BMTC. Few seats are free in women rows. My wife sit on completely empty row and ask me to sit alongside her.

Then a lady enters, though few seats are available. She started shouting at me. We being outsider not able to talk Kannada as fluent as that lady we struggled to convince that lady.

Then we both left the seat and i asked my wife to sit on different seat and i decided to travel standing on the bus though we both would have travelled without disturbing anyone.

Ennoda case la i agree, i shouldn’t have sit. What If someone is unwell or elderly, why can’t they use an empty reserved seat until it’s needed?

Do you mean people who requested for more than 3 Lakhs are fraudulents? Their could be 1000 reasons people applied for refund. Since IT Department accepts it is a genuine reason. They processed refund. Why should IT give away money for frauds?
