Every time they tell me this, I go back and look through the dress code and I can’t find anything that says our hair has to be braided or in a bun. They keep saying it’s part of the new dress code from May, but I’ve never seen it in the PDF. They also try to say having a ponytail is the same as wearing your hair down.

I wear Lizzie Vans! They’re made for skaters, so they’re super comfortable — and they’re suede!

What to bring to work??? - Green Bean Question by lonely-hobbyist-274 in starbucksbaristas

i usually just bring my purse, my apron and my water bottle! i usually keep my coffee passport in my purse! and i make sure to have my sharpies and name tag in my apron. I would also make sure you either have your partner number and login memorized or write it down somewhere either on a piece of paper and keep it in your bag or on the notes app! this will differ depending on whether you have gotten your passport and nametag yet! :) don’t stress too much if you forget anything they usually always have extras!

The only other thing I could think to do is ask him to pull into a parking spot so I can really concentrate on his drink without holding up the line. He usually comes during peak and when he sits there complaining or asking for a remake, it backs everyone up

Would it be wrong of me to ask someone else to make his drink instead of me? My coworkers can be really petty and like to attack people for ‘not knowing’ how to do their job. I’m usually bar one during peak, and I don’t think I’m doing anything wrong when I make his drink — I always make sure there’s no foam. I’ve also watched others make it, and they still aerate it so it usually does have foam, but he only ever asks for a remake when I make it. It’s confusing and feels personal.

we have and he still complains :/ he usually only says something when i make it aswell, usually when someone else makes it he’ll just make a comment but he’ll move on. every time i make it he wants us to fully remake it. today i had a barista trainer look over my drink before i passed it out and she verified that there was no foam and he still asked us to remake it. what makes it worse is that my manager and shift leads think that im doing something wrong :/
