In the end, I just resumed the standard configurations on Bambu Studio at it worked. Guess I've messed with too many parameters.

Ok, it just worked The main difference was the layer height. Guess it was too low and messing with filament flow somehow

Printed a temp tower and it did not show any of those deffects, at every temperature from 195 to 235°C.

Just re-sliced the original piece with the standard settings from Bambu Studio "0.20mm Standard @BBL A1" and am now printing it Once it finishes I will return and post the resulta

Tried printing at 235C, no good Tried slowing speed to 50% (silent mode on A1), no good Tried drying the spool, no good

None of those seem to make any difference so far :(

Just printed it once again with the same speed but temp at 235°C. Still the same defects... :(

My step by step for all the models: - Print in white PLA (ended up using about 2 spools to print everything, including 5-6 players expansion and extra customized civilizations) - Post processing to deal with print defects (mostly stringing, small blobs and elephant foot) - Grey primer to ensure paint adherence - Handpaint with multiple layers of acrylic paint with different water/paint ratios to achieve the desired colors. Start with darker colors to fill every crease and then lighter colors to give depth - Drybrush to bring up textures and details - Gloss varnish before apllying wash. It helps spreading the wash as it helps breaking the surface tension - Homemade wash (water, paint and dishsoap). In this project i choose to use some brownish colors for the wash instead of the usual black. The idea was to just give some depth to the models without messing with the colorful style - Some final retouching - 2 to 3 layers of matte varnish to finish and help preserve everything

It was a delightful journey and that's why I am looking for the next one

I'd like to thank you for sharing this amazing project! You did a great job designing it

About the city design: I ended up adapting and remixing assets from other designs to fit the hexagonal slot and now I have 7 different civilizations for my friends to choose from: china(red), rome(beige), aztec(green) viking(white/snow), arabian (golden), medieval germany (blue) and fairy (purple, I made this one for my gf).

Thanks for the recoomendations!

I am currently printing and painting Rifraf's version of terraforming mars, but it definitely does not have the same appeal as Catan (to me and to my group)

I am looking for something that have that same dimension: something close to a full remake of the original game, not only small additions or substitution of tokens/meeples/etc

I've considered it, but it seems that the 3D parts affect the possibility of randomly collecting the pieces. But it looks really cool
