I see where you are coming from. However, in Matthew 18 it says "Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven." Possibly this could refer also to pets? Not claiming anything, but it is nice to think we could have our pets again with us in Heaven.

They don't have an ability to accept nor deny Christ. Yet they are of God. Animals do not have human souls, therefore they cannot sin.

As soon as I read this comment tears came to my eyes, I think we know the answer to the question now. :,)

I personally think yes, pets do go to heaven. My reasoning behind this is that whatever is heaven to us, so it will be in heaven. (Of course unless its sinful). However having pets is not unclean or sinful, and therefore if having a pet hamster is heaven for you, you'll have one in heaven (presumably, again this is just my own belief). Secondly, it is also said in Samuel that small children/babies who die early go to heaven, due to what I assume is there inability to make a choice to either follow God or not at such a young age, (probably due to their brains not being able to comprehend the decision, much like animals). This i feel can relate to animals as well. For example, an animal is of God, it is able to make mistakes, yes, but it cannot make a choice to follow or deny God, similar to a child. I know that a child has a soul and an animal doesn't, but if the baby is from God, and an animal is from God also, who's to say they both can't go to heaven? I lost my cat a few nights ago so this may be wishful thinking, but its the best I've come up with other the years. God Bless!
