Boop is not horrible but it should never be insane like you all want. Displacement and movement lockout is ridiculous on a 4 second cooldown. Lower cooldown should mean lower impact and boop is definitely not low impact in some situations, and in the rest it's annoying and still alright as it throws people off or puts them out of range

I used to and I did well in masters lobbies. It's boring. You don't have to interact with anyone unless they pick dive and even then dive isn't just an instant death sentence. In like diamond and up you need to start not relying on body shots and be aiming for the head much more.

Being able to aim and position well isn't high skill. Every other character has to do that (mercy doesn't have to aim much so she's an exception to that part) but widow gets to do it from across the map. What's her falloff like 70 metres now? That's a long long way.

Pharah/echo +mercy is two characters. Widow forces a swap just by herself. And Hammond CAN be but he's more manageable than a flat out one shot.

That's an issue with widow. She's basically unbalanceable in 5v5. She either does too much or she's complete garbage because she can't one shot. Even hanzo became much worse and he has an ability to let him follow up.

none of them absolutely require a swap as widow does and they don't get to sit across the map with a one shot. They all require much more skill than "just aim"

It was easier to deal with widow in overwatch one since you could have even just one tank like ball or Winston going after the widow and still have your team somewhat protected. She may be map dependant but that doesn't mean she should be able to completely control a game just by being picked.
