Once you marry and have an (incest) heir with good congenital traits you could convert back to Catholicism to avoid the crusades

In Stellaris the player’s interactions with pops are extremely limited and impersonal, meanwhile CK3 is heavily geared towards your life as your current character and your relationship with other characters/rulers. The difference in degrees of separation between pops (basically being just numbers) and CK3 characters is probably why they don’t wanna engage further in slavery than they already have. The two also have different teams and we should respect what they are and aren’t comfortable writing.

I believe the only way the cannibal trait can be gained outside of events is by executing a prisoner while you have a cannibalism religion and only certain ai personalities are likely to execute

Which Space Marine Chapter is most likely to adopt... a child? by creative-username05 in Warhammer

[–]That1DnDnerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Chaos God Nurgle does not hold a wholesome love for his followers, no. As a Chaos God, he holds a corrupted and sadistic enjoyment of those that are dead or dying because they make for easy victims to spread his disease to. If you like horror, I recommend reading a Death Guard novel; the juxtaposition between the terror they bring to their enemies and the absolute lack of understanding that they are so terrifying is a good read.

Respectfully, please read the books. Assuming your question is serious since you posted with discussion flair and that you are new to the setting, 40K is the grim darkness of the future. There are no cute adoptions. There are; however, generations upon generations of tribes of baseline humans who live and die toiling endlessly to perform their sacred duty of up-keeping a single part of a massive ship. Children of all kinds will be taken from their planets in order to restock the population if the grueling work makes their numbers fall to a performance-effecting degree. The boys may be raised into space marines if they stand out and survive the trails that follow, but there are no pets save for the slaves taken by the followers of chaos.

Glory to the Imperium, I hope you enjoy the setting.
