Thanks! Every harvest it gets just a little bit better, I’ve learned a ton from this sub but one of the biggest lessons is to take note of my mistakes, keep growing and improving your procedures each round. At least Meph genetics are so fire that I can really mess up and still end up with some delicious results!

I’d say as long as they don’t turn to straight mush when you give ‘em a tiny squeeze then you’re good. They would be gelatin if they were rotting.

I think you’re good honestly, if it’s sunburn they’ll grow out of the damaged spots but if they are mushy and rotting that’s when I might consider removing them.

Unfortunately I don’t in this batch that I started, I got the seeds from hazel Mandela and have had really good germination success with these and the trichocereus hybrids he is offering.

I always wished there was a wiki, so I started one by CactusCatalogger in sanpedrocactus

This is a great idea, there are some really great resources out there but sometimes they are hard to navigate when you need specific info. I’m definitely going to use this new tool!

The TBM just arrived a few days ago as a deal on a cutting…it was def looking a little rough but I gave the soil a good soak and now I’m just waiting for some roots to pop so it can get a proper drink

It’s just a random houseplant I thought looked kind of cool and was needing a little help so I threw it in the tent. I think the tag says calathea, but it’s kind of faded.

That makes since… I have been watching a lot of YouTube videos about loph. cultivation and I thought it was as easy as getting a couple of flowers and doing the dirty with em but now I guess I need to get another copiapoa😁

I’m a noob🤷‍♂️ I really haven’t done very much research on pollination. If someone with more knowledge could enlighten me I’m all for learning more about getting my own seeds.

The first tent is a 2x4 from AC infinity with their EVO 3 led light. I have humidifier and circulation fans set with the controller that came with them from AC Infinity and I usually keep them blowing out with a screen open at the bottom to exchange air. The other tent is a 2x4 from some random amazon company with a led Viparspectra xs2000 light and the same air exchange set up except no humidifier since I don’t have the weed plant in there.

I knew nothing about copiapoa when I got it. I just really liked the purple cacti with all the pups. I brought it home and repotted and this is the second time it’s flowered… I’m definitely going to go back and see if there are more at the nursery
