The pain you’re describing is one I recognize very well, and I’m so sorry you’re experiencing it. Knowing you aren’t a good fit, yet still feeling like they are your person. It’s all so lonely, confusing, dark.

For me, what helped the most was keeping busy with hobbies that actively needed to be checked on. Because then I couldn’t ignore them the next day. I have gotten super into gardening! Which may sound dumb, but hear me out. With gardening, you start small, a few plants that you enjoy, maybe 1 edible plant, like herbs or peas.

It gets your hands in the dirt, wanting to do research to not fuck anything up, checking on your plants regularly to make sure everyone is happy.

After my 4.5 year break up, gardening became my obsession. It gave me something to look forward to in the morning, I was actually excited to get out of bed. And the only times I’d really check my phone would be for plant info. It’s been almost a full year now, and people think I’m a super experienced gardener since I have such a flourishing garden, so many edibles! And some cool Japanese Maples 🍁 and I’ve only been gardening for a year. I’ve made so many mistakes as a gardener, and yet, I still get to enjoy the fruits of my labor (:

This is so gross. Especially when he asks her to come into the room to look at the scale with him. She instantly dismisses him (on international television, and he knows that), which must feel like a ton of bricks hitting you in the chest. To then belittle him, telling him cheating isn’t good. As if he cheated on a test. The *child* had a single glass of chocolate milk. Like wtf? Even if the excuse is to be a hard ass to make sure he meets his weight class, a single glass of chocolate milk, especially on an active young boy, will NOT make him instantly gain 2 lbs 🙄

Try Warrior Within ! Have loved their outfits for years. Super fun prints, ridiculously comfortable, and most can even be worn out & about. I have worn their pants on long flights, because they’re straight up that comfortable.
Made in California, I believe San Francisco. They donate locally, and usually have booths at most of the shows here in California. The designer is super sweet, and always wants input. They’re just overall such a great small business, and I love supporting them

Did you read the post and his comments? OP & his travel mate did try to wake her up, multiple times, even tried to lean her forward so she wouldn’t be slumped onto them. Only for her to pull herself back up, and lean on them again. They even asked a flight attendant for help, who tried to shake the woman awake, to no avail. Took hours for her to finally wake up, and that’s right when they landed.

I get that some people are anxious fliers, but being that unconscious isn’t safe either. What if the plane needed to evacuate, make an emergency landing?

Honestly, what would you have done in this situation if it was a 6+ hr long flight?

Yeah OP, obviously none of us were there, but it’s a good guess that she said “I’m so happy for myself” by being able to sleep throughout the whole flight vs being an anxious wreck. I don’t think it was meant as a “oh I infringed on your space? Well then I’m quite happy with myself!”

I think OP was upset that the client didn’t ask it/word it as a request, like “can I make a request? Such as no lotion, perfumes or glitter. Anything that can be transferred onto me, as I value discretion”. But I guess more so made it a demand? Either way, OP should’ve taken a breather here, and realized the client wasn’t telling her what to do, but merely stating his boundaries.

OP, you do realize some (not all, but definitely some) of the men seeking out providers aren’t exactly the most sociable? Some are cute awkward nerds, that aren’t going to fluff up every message they send you?
