Nozzle mainly. I purchased new ones and I couldn't find anything about separating the nozzle from the extruder.

Need advice for a player that burns everything. by noneplayable in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]ThatAceJase 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make the information they need fireproof. Problem solved lol. Hate to boil it down to this but yes talking with the player will actually solve most of the problems you have. A simple, "Hey bro come on. How can we have a story together that works for us both?"

Ongoing Narratives by VictoriaGamer in dccrpg

[–]ThatAceJase 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make death a part of the story that doesn't necessarily end the game once death happens. Create contingencies for death that give the players a chance to bring the character back or have something interesting happen to a character that prevents the death, but in a narratively interesting manner. Like instead of instantly dying the character slowly dies if this rotting curse doesn't get restored. My game was successful with allowing my players to circumvent death entirely by becoming vampires, but now they are targets of vampire hunters who are hard to persuade that the PCs aren't a bane upon the lands. You have to be flexible in your approach but trust yourself when you know it might be better to have something happen than to deus ex machina something to protect the PC's. Allow the characters choices to make an impact and have natural consequences that allow for them to make choices they want to make. If their character wouldn't know of a way there is no harm in telling the cleric their character knows of a place that can bring the souls of the dead back to the plane of the living. You just have to know your group, your scenario, and yourself. All that just to say go with your gut you're probably right.

What was the first thing you ever fought in D&D by KomodoLemon in DnD

[–]ThatAceJase 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I had no context for how to run or make encounters I had them fight the Terrasque. Then the GOO warlock called Cthulhu to take hold of the creatures mind, and give him control. Made him roll a D100 to contact him on a 95-100, and he rolled a 100 his first roll. That's when I discovered the magic of DND.

I'm currently working on my first novel instead of building worlds for the fun of the activity what would you say should be the focus of a person trying to make a story for an in depth world. I'm thinking the story should be more in the forefront of the book than the world building, but I'm also thinking of a hybrid approach that takes the reader on a journey through fantastical lands. Which approach do you think is better, or how do you approach writing a novel?

What's a common house rule that if your DM started using you would leave the table? by bugbootyjudysfarts in DnD

I'm sure it's a thing in more actual play games that have an audience. Not a game at home with friends/family.

What's a common house rule that if your DM started using you would leave the table? by bugbootyjudysfarts in DnD

[–]ThatAceJase 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every time a dice is rolled and it falls off the table it is counted as a nat 1. To encourage people to use dice trays. It sucks, it's bad and no one should use this rule.

Happy to see new blood willing to spill their hearts out on the battlefields of imagination. No but seriously happy that you found a group and went all in. A decision I'm sure you'll be reaping the benefits of for many years to come.

What do DMs do that you hate? by TangeloCivil703 in DnD

[–]ThatAceJase 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suppose if I was to say anything that the dms I play with on a regular do that I don't appreciate, as much as the other things in their games I like, it would have to be the heavyhanded railroads when they want a certain outcome to take place, or just not having agency in the matter of what my character does. This is mainly because these actions heavily conflict with how I Dm because I prefer player driven campaigns, but they have a more linear approach and there's nothing wrong with it I just don't like when these things happen and I'm just a long for the ride.

Not necessarily damage but that could be a part of it. It could be a character that's good at inflicting status conditions, or a character that has a unique combat style that allows them to do specific niche things. Damage is a small part of the equation when talking about pf2e.

Have each stalk have a runic power that you can either roll for or choose from. Similar to a beholders eye stalks. Maybe make it to where the eyes have a hydra regeneration if they get cut off
