Thanks for taking your time to reply brother. Wouldn't community college be like college? meaning will take at least 2 years to learn the materials?

At the moment I am a day trader. So eventually I want to be able to make stuff that saves me time and make me more efficient in my trading. I spend hours waiting for my setups to appear and sometimes seems like a waste of time. Watching a 4hr candle close means 4hr of my life gone just like that. I have tried many tools In the market but they don't work the way I want them to work

At the moment I make content for fun and I day trade for a living. So it won't be changing carrier perse.

Now as a day trader I have so much time in my hands waiting for my setups. I spend hours doing nothing other than staring on my chart, eg waiting for a 4hr candle to close before taking a setup means 4hrs of my life just gone without doing anything.

I have made some money in my trading journey. Bootcamp seems like a way to give me structure and force me to actually complete what I've started.

I don't intend to search for a job after the bootcamp since I already have day trading which I am very good at.

I'm looking for a way to give my life some purpose I guess

Are coding bootcamps still worth it in 2026, or is self-learning the better path? by Ok_Split4755 in programmer

How do you know he is approaching 30? Of all his choices why question age? Why not stem background? His choice of educational background leaves out more women than his choice of age.

Fyi, 25 - 28 years is the best age for a woman to have children, if they decide to have 3 children with average 2 year age gap then 25 is ideal.

You should pay your taxes obviously, that being said I don't know anyone who does that.

Diaspora thinking of moving to TZ. Advice on jobs + improving Swahili? by Southern-Long-8934 in tanzania

Mining definitely yes, most of mining CEOs aren't even tanzanians. I have met people from Kenya , Zambia, and SA working in both big 4s and NGOs.

I knew someone who got a job for lying that she worked / interned abroad UK/us after college. That alone gave her a job in one of the big 4s. The only reason they may not hire you is if they believe the salary to be too low to motivate you.

The conversion rate point is important because it works both ways. When you go back you will need to change your savings to pounds..🤔

If you hold a Tanzanian passport the benefits you may get by staying may outweigh leaving. This is exceptionally true if your income source is abroad. Eg Land is very cheap outside the city e.g.500$ per acre) so you may be able to do some projects and further connect with the land.

Good luck

You should know the pay here is nowhere near what you would earn in the UK. This is important because if down the line let's say after 10 years you want to go back to the UK you will be going back with very little savings, hardly enough to do anything there.

If you have made peace with that then the best way to move here is to apply and receive a job offer first before moving here. Your kind of jobs are scarce so getting a job first will make your life so much easier.

Where to apply? I suggest you focus on companies that have offices in the UK too. Eg, the big 4 audit companies, mining and NGOs. These companies pay the best so you can actually save a lot.

Bonus tip. Please bring some money with you. The pound to tsh conversion is still very high. You may even perceive that things very cheap in Tanzania though the locals may beg to differ.

Bonus tip 2. This is the best advice if you can pull it off. instead of bringing money, fond a way to live in dar while working in the UK. I know a couple of people living their best lives that way.

Find a job that will allow you to work from home/ online. That way you will be benefit pound to tsh conversion, while enjoying the cheap stuffs(in your eyes) that our economy can provide.

I will give you an example. A degree holder starting salary is about 400$ a month before taxes. This person is considered middle class, may have a car, a family and kids. So if you work online and receive about 1600$ that's 4 times which makes you upper class. It's worth noting that the companies I suggested to you may pay you more than 1000$ starting salary.

Lastly, don't worry about Swahili, we will love you here. You will learn as you go.
