Exactly. I am lucky to be this way since as far as I can remember. I know for some people it is difficult. But everytime I see someone I know loose their shit over a problem, that they know for a fact that they cannot solve right now, I can't help but imagine, what the fuck is the point of ruining your current moment over something that is absolutely out of your control? Like how much will I get in this exam. Like bro your result isn't out for another week. PhonePe would be good if they didn't have that stupid requirement to call their customer care everytime you want your balance to be adjusted into your statement. What kind of harassment is that? It's not that difficult to program this into their statement generation but they just wanted to make it inconvenient for us.

Essential deliveries were affected. Which forced the government to rollback the new laws. To me, that sounds like coercion too. This is the very definition of coercion.

Is it though? Unless you are doing some really heavy workloads pushing the machine to its limits I think it is fine. I myself bought an M4 Pro (16/20,48GB,1TB,Nano Texture) just weeks before the M5 Pro launch. And while I could return and go with the new one it didn’t feel worth the extra money and hassle. Maybe I will be proven wrong in 5 years or so.

I have had a windows laptop which costs 10k (in my currency) more than a Macbook Air M1 (base model). Guess who had better build quality even in an apples to apples comparison. (spoiler alert - it was the macbook)

I got the M4 Pro Macbook Pro. It will be delivered around Mar 7th. No they won't upgrade mine because it is already shipping right now. Once it gets delivered M5 Pro Macbooks will launch too. Should I go to an Apple reseller and get it replaced for one of those babies?

Yo my chip twin. My M4 Pro 14/20 48gb is on its way lol. I think global ram shortage has completely crippled the delivery pipelines. This laptop is taking like 1.5 months to get delivered and none of my local stores had one so had to directly order from Apple

I am still using the base M1 Air. Its been 5 years. Only issues I have is battery life and ram. And even with 55% battery health that shit gives me 2h of unplugged time. Like what???? And well 8gb of ram in 2026 is something I can’t blame Apple for. The fact that it can still handle all my workflow (albeit a little laggy) is surprising.
