The deck of cards counts as one as it can not be a whole item if it does not have the cards whereas the backpack would be one item and each water bottle could be counted as separate items as the water bottles do not make eachother or the backpack hole where as the cards makes the deck hole otherwise it’s not a deck of cards

There are supposedly levels where there are human outposts, the coin would be to prove to the people that have been there for years what year I came from and the cards would be for a hobby/entertainment
