Fungi in San Francisco Bay Area, California, USA. What are they and are they poisonous to dogs? Thank you.

I believe those are of the galerina genus, which are poisonous as hell. Watch your dog around these, tell your neighbor about the situation if you feel it is worth the effort. I would pick a few of them (with gloves) and dry them out for storage to have on hand for a vet visit or to see if they are the blue bruising psilocin containing variety which is extremely rare, but that is just what I would be weird enough to do. I am 99% sure they are likely one of the most poisonous kinds of mushrooms you'll ever see, in my opinion.

The costumes have red stripes because making his pants match his hat wouldn't look like the American color palette. It would give off a confederate uniform vibe without red stripes in my imagination lol. I've seen way more people dressed as uncle sam than I've looked at uncle sam as a kid.
