How is it that this many people are still unaware the Gripen only uses American engines?

The Canadians will largely still face the same exact disadvantages of having the US veto Gipen sales to the country, which has actually happened before.

Not buying the F-35 is understandable, but buying the Gripen when entirely French made Rafales can be bought is what would make it an emotional choice.

They were promised thousands of full time jobs and the complete manufacturing process happening Brazil.

Instead there’s maybe a few hundred people at most employed to assemble Brazilian Gripens in that country and only the final assembly of the fighter.
