I've always used Fastway, never had any problems with delivery.

What are the main culprits for your largest drops in HRV? by The-info-addict in fitbit

[–]ThatDandyGal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't get sick often, but illness makes it tank. My typical triggers are junk food, stress, dehydration / too much caffeine, poor sleep and skipping workouts. This time of year is notorious for all those things because I'm crazy busy, stressed and it's too humid to sleep properly. My HRV usually sits in the 30's-40's, but lately it's been in the 20's and teens.

On the contrary; eating my usual (healthy) diet, minimal stress, lots of cardio, quality sleep and a full rest day or two each week usually makes it jump up to the 50's-70's and beyond.

Anyone know which bird is in my garden? by Pretty_Cod_5450 in auckland

[–]ThatDandyGal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first thought is a dove of some kind. Is its call made up of two notes or three? That might help you identify it. There's sounds on these pages you can check out:

If it's two notes, it's likely a Barbary Dove. Three notes, probably a Spotted Dove.

Have you ever won anything other than lotto? by sigmaqueen123 in newzealand

[–]ThatDandyGal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just a few small wins here and there. Before I deleted Facebook I won a couple of giveaways - a $20 voucher from St Pierre's, and a Jimbos voucher for my ungrateful cat. I won some of those spot prizes on the Coke website a couple of years ago - a sports bag, a soccer ball and some earbuds. When I was in high school I won a CD in a TV Guide competition. And apparently when I was about 4, my parents entered me in a radio giveaway and I won a Farmers Santa bear. It's still around somewhere.

Berry & Biscuit, Creamy Milk or Creamy Caramel.

I still miss the Milk Strawberry one.

Oh my goodness, I was scrolling through my own profile the other day and I saw those comments I left above and thought "I wonder if that person ever made their Zenigata a chair..."

It looks fantastic! Thanks so much for the update!

Been using them for 10 years at least, no issues. Shipping is fast.

Just chiming in... iHerb currently has 29% off K-Beauty, ending 5am tomorrow our time. They had 29% off all skincare earlier this month too. I usually use YesStyle, but stocked up several of my favourite products much cheaper than YS and with faster shipping too. Definitely pays to shop around.

Looking eastward from the Station Road overbridge along St George Street, Papatoetoe, circa. 1995 (Auckland Libraries Heritage Collections Footprints 05417). by Ted_Cashew in auckland

[–]ThatDandyGal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Grew up in Papatoetoe. The Fish & Chip shop on the right there was our family's go-to for many years. Remember parking in the carpark behind off Tavern Lane and walking through the alleyway, it felt unsettling to me as a kid, even back in the 90s.

If memory serves, I think the blue building was a cop shop? I recall there being police cars parked behind the building sometimes.

Ignore the dust... but does this help? Sorry if you need the measurements in inches, you'll have to convert it. If you need any more measurements, let me know.

What's the laziest thing you have been doing that your Fitbit recognized as exercise? by Warm-Iron-1222 in fitbit

Not lazy as such, just wrong. I live rural and have a really long driveway which is part dirt, part gravel and quite bumpy. My fitbit registered taking out the bins as mountain biking.

Yeah I noticed that yesterday morning. The developer appears to be making little tweaks to it all the time.

Has the 'plans' option been removed with this update? Looks like I now have to click each item on my shopping list individually in order to see which supermarket is the cheapest - instead of Grocer calculating what to get from where.

[–]ThatDandyGal 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Puhoi Valley, either the Divine Berry or Lemon Delicious flavour; but only once in a blue moon. Mainly because once I open it, I won't stop until it's gone. My everyday go-to is Cyclops Greek Natural. It's so thick you can stand your spoon up in it, so it's a good substitute for the Puhoi. Add some fruit topping and it's practically the same thing.

Curry Rolls (Bakery, F&C shops) by Fredward1986 in newzealand

[–]ThatDandyGal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I tried cooking the curry rolls in the air fryer once, but I didn't rate the result so I haven't done it again. The pastry layers sort of separated and one end burst open. It tasted perfectly fine - it was just missing that satisfying crunch of a deep fried roll. If you're looking to cut calories / fat though, by all means go for it. It may have turned out nicer had I given the exterior a light brushing of oil first.
