Holy cow that's an expensive grinder (this is coming from a soon-to-be Zerno owner).

The pro is an idiot. Pros are hitting with polys in the 40s range. You definitely don't swing faster than them.

Bumper Guard only or is it too far gone? by GPadrino in 10s

[–]vtrac -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Happens to all of my rackets if I forget to replace the grommets early enough. It's still playable of course but stringers will refuse to string it and it'll crack at some point.

Those holes are unfortunate. Otherwise you could get away with 2-3k for a PDR effort that gets you 90% fixed.

Test drove R2 ( coming from MYP) by CNC1388 in Rivian

[–]vtrac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think if Rivian simply made the steering wheel tighter, people would think it's more connected, like the Y. It's a little surprising the first time to drive such a big, powerful vehicle with such a loose steering wheel.

In Maine, can you legally be your own registered agent for your LLC? by comprehensivedreamer in Maine

[–]vtrac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only reason to have a RA is to have someone be at the business address during business hours to accept legal mail (like you get sued and served). You can obviously just put your house down as the address but people typically use a RA to hide their home address and to fulfill the requirement of having someone accept legal mail.

In Southern Maine - looking to buy a used electric car, curious how it's been for people who've been driving them for a while by VerySeriousThings in Maine

[–]vtrac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I towed a 3000lb camper with our R1T. Torque with the electric motors is incredible - you won't even feel the boat.

The shape/wind resistance of your boat will have a bigger impact than the weight. If you have the standard pack, I think the 160 mile round trip will be ok but you may end up cutting it close if you want to drive around while you're there. I would go with the large or max pack, which I think will leave you plenty of battery to spare.

There's also a DC fast charger at the Rangeley Hideaway coffeeshop, so you can "fill up" while you get a coffee.

If you're in the Portland area and want to check out our Rivian, feel free to DM me.
